Ahmed Niyaz, widely known as Niya, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Maldives national futsal team.
A former national footballer, Niya played for top clubs including New Radiant SC, VB Sports Club, Club Valencia, and Victory SC. After retiring from professional football, he transitioned into coaching and served as an assistant coach for New Radiant in 2016.
