The former Vice President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has joined the defence team of the Supreme Court, Judge Abdulla Didi.

While the former Vice President was not seen on Judge Didi’s defence team before, he appeared on the team at the open investigation query into the Supreme Court Judge by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) that began today at Dharubaaruge.

Aside from Dr. Jameel, Judge Didi’s legal team inludes Adam Shameem, Mohamed Saleem and Adam Asif.

The Investigation Committee by the JSC includes the Vice President of JSC, Masthoor Husni, Attorney General, Ibrahim Riffath, Judge Uz. Mohamed Eesafulhu, the Parliament appointee to the JSC, the MP for Thulhaadhoo constituency, Hisaan Hussain and the President of the Civil Service Commission, Dr. Ali Shameem.
