Meedhoo has secured the final place in the Addu atoll semi-finals of the HD Hyundai and Golden Futsal Challenge 2026, the Maldives’ largest futsal tournament.
In the Addu Atoll group stage, Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, and Feydhoo had already confirmed their places in the semi-finals. Meedhoo claimed the remaining spot after drawing 1–1 with Hithadhoo. Hithadhoo topped the group with four points from two matches, while Meedhoo finished second with two points. Eman Nazeer scored for Hithadhoo, and Mohamed Sabah Mansoor netted for Meedhoo.
In the other group match, Feydhoo and Maradhoo played to a 2–2 draw. Maradhoo finished first in the group on goal difference, with Feydhoo second on four points. Mohamed Sayyam Saeed scored twice for Feydhoo, while Hussain Shius and Hassan Noorish found the net for Maradhoo.
Meanwhile, teams from Lhaviyani Atoll also began their campaigns. Naifaru made a strong start with a 1–0 win over defending atoll champions Kurendhoo, with Hussain Faisal scoring the decisive goal. In another match, Hinnavaru defeated Olhuvelifushi 4–3, with Ahmed Ziyaan Mohamed and Hussain Mohamed scoring two goals each for Hinnavaru.
