Hassan Nabaah has resigned from his position as a member of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (BroadCom).
He submitted his letter of resignation to the President’s Office today.
Nabaah was appointed to the BroadCom on 5 April 2016. He has yet to reveal as to why he resigned.
While he has resigned today, the former Vice President of the BroadCom, Ismail Sofwan resigned last week. He resigned after a case against him went to the parliament for collecting paychecks for months without going to work.
Aside from Sofwan, the parliament committee on independent institute had discussed to dismiss other members on the board as well.
