Former President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa is on a visit to the Maldives after an invitation extended by prominent businessman, Champa Mohamed Moosa (Uhchu).

One Online has learnt that Rajapaksa is staying at Kudadhoo - one of the resorts owned by the business tycoon. He is accompanied by his wife and brothers, some of whom mare staying at Hurawalhi Resort, also owned by the Champa Brothers.

Uhchu had met with Rajapaksa during his visit to Sri Lanka last June, where he had expressed his grief over the recent terror attacks in the country.
