Malé Aerated Water Company (MAWC) has presented official FIFA World Cup 2026 match balls to Maldivian football legends in recognition of their contributions to the development of football in the Maldives.

The match balls, signed by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, were gifted to former national team players for their services and achievements in advancing the country's football scene.

The presentation ceremony, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, honoured former national footballers whose performances inspired generations of players and supporters and helped shape the history of Maldivian football.

MAWC, the authorised bottler of Coca-Cola in the Maldives for more than 35 years, said the initiative reflects the long-standing partnership between Coca-Cola and FIFA and recognises those who have made significant contributions to the sport.

The company also highlighted its efforts to promote football through partnerships and campaigns, including a FIFA World Cup 2026 consumer promotion held earlier this year, which awarded two winners all-expenses-paid trips to watch a World Cup match.
