The Ministry of Finance has invited bids to procure, install and commission a multi-port robotic surgical system for use at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and Dharumavantha Hospital.

This will be the first robotic surgical system introduced in the Maldives.

The ministry said the project will be carried out through an International Competitive Bidding (ICB) process.

Interested bidders must pay a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 1,500. Bid documents will be available for download from the Ministry of Finance website from the 2nd of next month, while a pre-bid meeting will be held online via Microsoft Teams on the 6th.

A bid security of MVR 258,000 is required, valid for 148 days from the bid submission date. The deadline for bid submissions is 1:00 p.m. on the 12th of next month, with bids to be opened the following day.

All bids must be submitted through the Government's online bidding portal.
