Health Minister Geela Ali has stated that preparations are underway to launch dialysis services in GDh. Gadhdhoo this year.

The Minister made these remarks while responding to a question asked by a member during today's sitting of the People's Majlis.

The Minister stated that preparations required to commence dialysis services on the island are currently progressing at a fast pace.

In that regard, she noted that the overall project, contracted to MTCC, is scheduled for complete completion by September next year.

The Minister added that while general healthcare and laboratory services are already available in Gadhdhoo, this administration has newly introduced specialized pediatric and gynecology services on the island.
