Maldives Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Corporation (StatePharma) has held discussions with the Maldives Hajj Corporation on strengthening the procurement of medicines and medical supplies for Maldivian pilgrims.

StatePharma said the Hajj Corporation has previously procured medicines from different suppliers but has expressed interest in sourcing them through StatePharma to improve the procurement process.

The two institutions discussed ways to ensure a reliable supply of quality medicines and medical equipment for Maldivian pilgrims during Hajj and Umrah.

StatePharma said closer cooperation with the Hajj Corporation would help provide essential medical supplies to pilgrims in a more sustainable and efficient manner.
