A hearing in the case against the Supreme Court Judge, Abdulla Didi has been scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Supreme Court.

The hearing is related to the case submitted by Justice Didi to the Supreme Court over the JSC’s decision to suspend him from the Supreme Court.

The hearing scheduled for 1:15pm tomorrow comes at a time when Justice Didi is out of the country.

As per the Supreme Court schedule, Chief Justice Ahmed Abdulla Didi, Justice Adam Mohamed Abdulla and Justice Abdul Ghanee Mohamed will be presiding over the case.

The Supreme Court previously ordered the JSC from taking any actions in the case and to delay the suspension until the trial was over. However, the JSC had ignored all court orders and concluded their investigation as well.

The investigation was carried out publicly by the JSC Committee. He had refrained from answering any of the allegations during the investigation. He had however later provided a written defense to the commission.
