Former MPs Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, Ibrahim Falah, Abdulla Khaleel, Ahmed Assad and Ali Arif have decided to sign Jumhooree Party (JP) tonight.
Former Inguraidhoo MP Ibrahim Falah had also confirmed the news to 'One Online'.
The former MPs who have decided to sign to JP are members who were previously part of the opposition. As such, Nihan was the Vice President of People's National Congress, however he has since resigned from the post today.
Ali Arif, Khaleel, Assad and Falaah were PPM members however Falah left PPM today while Khaleel also resigned as the Secretary General of PPM today.
The ceremony to sign these members will be held tonight at 9:00pm. While the members hold a opposition ideology, JP is currently part of the ruling coalition.
