Leader of the Jumhoory Party (JP) and MP for Maamigili constituency, Qasim Ibrahim has said that the party will have a candidate in the next Presidential Election.

Qasim made the statement at the special signing ceremony held at M. Kunooz last night where a number of people joined the party.

At the ceremony, the JP Leader said that they are working to increase members and make big changes to the party.

He said that it is guaranteed that the party will have a candidate in the next Presidential Election but it will be the party which will decide if the candidate would be himself or someone else.

Qasim has previously run in two Presidential Elections; in 2013 and 2018. Despite the two losses in the elections, JP has played a key role in securing victory in elections through a coalition.
