International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has presented a certificate to the Maldives for the country’s efforts in aviation security.
As part of her ongoing visit to Canada, Transport Minister, Aishath Nahula took part in the 40th ICAO Assembly and accepted the ICAO President Certificate commemorating the efforts develop aviation security in the country.
Following the acceptance, Minister Nahula took to Twitter and expressed gratitude to the MNDF and the Aviation Security Command of the Maldives for their work in upholding the security standards.

ICAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations on aviation formed around developing aviation regulations and work towards safer air travel. Maldives is a member of the ICAO.
