President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has visited the site of the tragic fire incident in Henveiru in Malé on the 20 September,

On his visit this morning after arriving in the country, President Solih checked on the progress of work at the site. It was the President’s first stop, according to the President’s Office, immediately following his return to the Maldives from his visit to abroad.

President Solih arrived at Velana International Airport early this morning following the successful conclusion of his visit to New York, USA, to attend the 74th Annual Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

During the visit, the President inspected the area and inquired about the progress of the relief work for the fire incident that happened in Abadhahfehi Magu.
