President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is set to declare that the next Sunday, 10 November, is going to be a holiday.

One Online has confirmed that the President’s decision is going to be officially announced by the President’s Office later today. When asked about the decision, Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Hoodh did not deny it.

Trusted sources have told One Online that the decision was made to fill the working day between the two holidays; Eid Milad ul-Nabi on 9 November and the Republic Day on 11 November.

With this decision, state employees are going to get a four-day weekend at the end of this week.
