The Academic Year has ended and the students have received their grade reports for the year 2019.

As the report giving ceremonies are being held across the country this morning, some schools have opted to give out the reports to some grades in the afternoon session.

The annual year-end holidays this time will have 51 days as the new Academic Year is set to begin on 12 January. Teachers are to report to the schools on 7 January.

Academic Year 2019 began on 13 January with 93 days of teaching in the first term. The second term consisted of 107 days totaling up to 200 days.

The Academic Calendar announced by the Ministry of Education show 201 days of teaching next year with 90 days in the first term and 111 days in the second term.
