Maldivian telecommunications giant, Dhiraagu, has introduced the first feature film from iFilms; “Bavathi” as the first pay-per-view content on DhiraaguTV.
IFilms is a production house founded by Ilyas Waheed last year and “Bavathi” is their first feature film with completely new actors to Maldivian cinema.
Dhiraagu said that they are working expand their on-demand video library to offer as many local products to the public.
Video on demand allows users to select and watch video content of their choice on their TVs, computers or other devices through a menu of available videos from which to choose for transmitted Real-Time streaming.
The company said that their objective is to create more opportunities for local artists and creatives to collaborate and create new forms of interactive content. This feature enables DhiraaguTV to provide a wide range of entertainment options to our customers that can be conveniently accessed.
DhiraaguTV is the first IPTV service in the Maldives. After two years in service, the platform has a number of accomplishments with 72 percent of the population using to the service.
