Minister Shidhatha: Did not use embassy car, did not even see it

Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services, Shidhatha Shareef has said that she did not use the embassy car on her personal visit to Malaysia.

She made the statement on Facebook today after a case was filed yesterday with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) alleging that the Gender Minister used the car of the Maldivian Embassy in Malaysia on a personal visit.

Minister Shidhatha said that not only she did not use the embassy car, she did not even see it. And that would be clear when the relevant institutes look into it.

Although a case against the Gender Minister has been filed at the ACC, they have not said whether the case is being investigated.
