Health Protection Agency (HPA) has revealed that a fourth Maldivian had tested positive to Covid-19.

HPA noted that a Maldivian at the Velidhoo Isolation facility had shown symptoms after which they were tested for Covid-19.

They also revealed that the fourth patient had also recently returned from the UK.

With this, the total amount of positive cases in the Maldives have now risen to 19. These include two Italians who tested positive after they departed the Maldives.

While four Maldivians have tested positive, all four of them recently returned from the UK.
