A repatriation flight by Maldivian has successfully brought back 205 Maldivians who were stuck in Trivandrum, India.
These are some of the people who haven't been able to fly back to the Maldives due to the 21 day lockdown active in India over the worsening Covid-19 pandemic.
While they have been brought back, 144 care packages have also been delivered to several families in Trivandrum.
Under the governments efforts to bring back Maldivians stuck across various countries, 189 Maldivians had been evacuated from Cochin as well while care packages were also sent to families in the area.
All those who had flown back are currently being quarantined as per the regulations set by Health Protection Agency (HPA).
