National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) Spokesperon Mabrouq Azeez has revealed that 468 contacts of positive cases have been identified and that samples from 242 contacts have been taken so far.
Speaking during a press conference at the NEOC, Mabrouq noted that the 468 contacts are related to seven cases and that these included High and Medium risk people.
He added that contact tracing is still ongoing and that 133 households and buildings have since been placed under monitoring.
Maldives now has a total of 52 confirmed cases. 31 of these cases originate from Male' City and one from Haa Alif atoll Uligan.
