After another five Bangladeshi nationals and four Maldivians tests positive, the total number of cases in the Maldives have gone up to 95.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) announced on Twitter that nine people have tested positive today.
In the Tweet, HPA said that they are currently working to transfer all of them to the Isolation Facility. HPA has yet to release any further information on these cases.
While 95 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Maldives, 16 people have recovered while two people were confirmed positive after they left the country. Aside from the cases in the Maldivian capital, a case has been confirmed in Haa Alifu Uligan. The person tested positive in Uligan was a person who traveled from Male’ City before the lock down.
