The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Maldives has reached 86, with 6 new recoveries being reported on Tuesday.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) issued a statement this morning that six people have recovered from COVID-19 but no details were offered at the time.
Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Epidemiologist at HPA, Dr. Afzal confirmed that six more people have recovered from COVID in the Maldives.
And so, a total of 12 people has been confirmed for recovery today which includes two locals and 10 foreigners.
While the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Maldives have risen to 1143 today, four people have passed away from the illness; three elderly Maldivians and a Bangladeshi national.
