Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced that with the easing of lockdown in Male’ City, selected branches and service centres will be open for services not available via online or self-service banking.

Selected branches are to be opened from 8th June 2020 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.

"To ensure our services are provided in line with the social distancing and safety measures announced by the Health Protection Agency, we will be serving customers through pre-booked appointments with limited number of slots per day," the bank said in a statement issued on Saturday.

Appointments can be made the day before each working day via their appointment portal or by an SMS.

Those who wish to seek the services during this time are required to wear a mask, observe strict social distancing, using the distancing markers placed on the floor, bringing their own pen and using hand sanitizers placed at our locations.

Once an appointment is successfully made, Maldives Police Service will send a permit via SMS with the appointment time to visit the Bank.
