The total number of people who has recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 1863 after 15 more people recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 15 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,863. With this, the total number of active cases are now 406.

The agency also confirmed an additional 06 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. This includes 03 Maldivians and 03 Bangladeshis.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,283.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
