Five teachers at Ghaazee School in Hulhumale’ have been quarantine after a teacher tested positive for COVID-19.

Principal of Ghaazee School, Mariyam Mohamed told One Online that a teacher at the school was confirmed positive on the Tuesday and had not been coming to the school from Wednesday.

The teacher who tested positive is a teacher for the Special Needs children at the school.

However, with the SEN classes suspended and no Counselor available at the School, the teacher was working at the School Counseling Department.

The school’s Principal said that no students have gone for Counseling during the time the teacher in question worked at the department.
