Tourism Ministry has said that more resorts are opening to tourists this month since the reopening of the Maldivian borders on 15 July.
Maldives reopened the border with 30 resorts in operation. Tourism Ministry said that 17 more resorts have started operating yesterday.
They are:
- Emerald Maldives Resort
- Joali Maldives
- Royal Island Resort
- Centra Ras Fushi Resort
- Dusit Thani Maldives
- Six Senses Laamu
- Sun Island Resort
- Holiday Island Resort
- Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi
- Bandos Maldives
- Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu
- Coco Bodu Hithi
- Sun Aqua Iru Veli Maldives
- Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives
- Biyadhoo Island Resort
- Nika Island Resort
- Cheval Blanc Randheli
Along with the resorts, yesterday, Mercury Maldives Kooddoo Hotel reopened while six vessels began operations as well along with five transit facilities in Male’ City and Hulhumale’ according to Tourism Ministry.
