After another 182 people recovers from COVID-19 in the Maldives, the total number of recoveries in the country has risen to 4,873.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that 97 people have recovered in the past 24 hours raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 4,873. There are 2,568 people currently in treatment.

Meanwhile, from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 114 locals have tested positive along with 17 Bangladeshi nationals, three Indian nationals, two Nepalese nationals, two UAE nationals and a Kenyan national and a French national.

Statistics from HPA show 1,426 people in isolation facilities and 192 people in hospitals.

COVID-19 in the Maldives has seen 28 fatalities so far including 22 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
