Ooredoo Maldives has said that their offices in Gadhage' Mohamed Fulhu Building suffered several losses during the fire that broke out in Tiolo Cafe' last night.

Director Sales Distribution and Brand, Hussain Niyaz revealed to One Online that four apartments of Ooredoo are in that building.

He noted that the building is where their administrative headquarters are based, and that their CEO along with senior employees of HR, commercial and finance work from there. He noted that it has been a while since the offices were last used.

He highlighted that those who work in those offices have been working from home since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, However, due to computer setups and furniture being there has caused several losses to the company.

Niyaz also noted that the full extent of damages is as of now unknown and that an assessment will be done once they receive permission to be back on the premises.

He stressed that even though the company had suffered losses, none of their operations are affected by the fire. As such he said that technical and customer care work of Ooredoo are conducted in Hulhumale'.
