The People's National Congress (PNC) party said that progress cannot be attained without the party in governance.

PNC, formed under the leadership of former President Abdulla Yameen submitted 4,000 forms to the Election Commission today as part of the party registration process.

MP of Fonadhoo Constituency Mr. Abdul Raheem Abdulla (Adurey) addressed the press after exiting the Elections Commission building. The MP declared that PNC will go on to become the biggest and strongest political party. He said that the party will get the opportunity to serve the Maldivian people as part of the government in the future.

MP Abdul Raheem Abdullah also noted that PNC is a capable party with the leadership ability to establish a nation that Maldivians want.

He further said that the work of party will be carried out with the intention of benefiting the people of the country.
