2018 was a year that brought on major wedding ceremonies of Bollywood. While there are reportedly various weddings lined up for 2019, stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are said to be engaged by June this year.

Although the stars had been romantically-linked for some time now, they kept it under wraps for a while. The couple officially acknowledged their relationship only recently. Ranbir and Alia have not officially released a statement regarding their engagement so far.

Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor has reportedly urged Ranbir to get engaged soon and start a married life. Ranbir and Alia have been spotted spending time with each other's families more frequently as of late.

The couple are starring in the fantasy fiction film Brahmastra - set to be released on the 20th of December 2019.
