The canteen of state-run Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has been closed down due to unhygienic conditions.

Deputy Director General at the Health Ministry, Thasleem Usman revealed to One that the canteen of IGMH had been closed today due to the unhygienic conditions observed at the canteen.

While the canteen at IGMH had been closed, Food Corner that is operated at ADK Hospital has also recently been closed due to bad hygiene.

HPA had previously shut down many cafes and restaurants for failing to comply with their hygiene standards. During the mass inspection that took place following the COVID-19 pandemic, many were shut down as well.
