President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is set to address the nation at 2 p.m. today.

Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Mohamed Mabrook Aziz said that the President will be updating the nation on the latest measures being implemented against COVID-19.

Since the first reported case of COVID-19 in the Maldivian capital, Male’ City, back in March 2020, the President has addressed the nation four times. The latest address was in 20 May 2020.

While President Solih is set to address the nation this afternoon, the first shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine provided by the Indian government is set to arrive today.
