President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that the current administration will work towards major challenges faced by the citizens of Kaaf Atoll Gulhi.

The President said this in a meeting held with members of the Gulhi Island’s Council.

The Gulhi council noted major issues faced by the island’s citizens. As such, the Council noted issues with availability of land as well as the lack of a proper water and sewage system on the island. The Council also said that there have been difficulties in providing proper services to the people of the island due to staff shortages at the council. In addition to that the Gulhi Council also notified the President regarding works that are in planning stages at this time.

The President discussed with the Council, future projects to be included in the budget and conducted at Gulhi. The President also clarified various information on the lives of people at the island.
