The MP for Fonadhoo constituency, Abdul Raheem Abdulla (Adhurey) has been appointed as the temporary President of the People's National Congress (PNC) party with former Economic Minister, Mohamed Saeed and former Defence Minister, Adam Shareef Abdulla as Vice Presidents.
At the inaugural function of to officially form the party tonight, a temporary committee was established to run the party. A committee of 40 members was formed with the unanimous vote of 375 representatives present at the function. The former President, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom was also in attendence tonight.
Other members of the party on the committee include the former Housing Minister, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Education Minister, Dr. Aishath Shiham along with state ministers and other high ranking officials during the Yameen Administration.
