State Electric Company (STELCO) had said that they may have to cut power from parts of Male' City tomorrow for a compulsory work.

The company said that it is likely that they may have to cut power from parts of the city tomorrow morning between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. to do the work required to connect Male', Hulhule' and Hulhumale' via an interconnection.

However, they will be restoring power as soon as the work is completed.

STELCO said that the work set for tomorrow is necessary to connect the Male' system to the network after all the work of the interconnection project has been completed.
