Vice President of PNC and MP for Maavashu constituency, Mohamed Saeed has accused the government of pampering the former Tourism Minister and Vice President, Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor to manufacture evidence against the former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

Speaking on a program of Sangu TV last night, MP Saeed said that three years has passed since coming to office and the government of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has been unable to complete the investigation into the MMPRC Corruption Scandal.

And he accused the government of manufacturing the evidence they want against former President Yameen by appealing to Adheeb.

The Vice President of PNC said that if political backstabbing is attempted, it would be returned as well.

He said that everyone who tried to bring the current administration tompower are now trying to erase President Yameen from the political field.

Saeed said that the current government is a failure and it would take freeing President Yameen and electing him to office for the country to succeed.
