Minister of Tourism, Ali Waheed, has said that he has seen international level organization that went into holding the ongoing Living  Expo 2019. The Minister expressed his happiness on the matter.

Minister Ali Waheed attended the Living Expo 2019 and visited the stalls. Speaking to the press after his visit to the stalls, Ali Waheed said that this expo is a brilliant move at a time when the tourism industry in Maldives is looking to diversify.

The Minister spoke regarding participation of various foreign companies at the expo and said that various foreign nationals that take part in expos sometimes face visa difficulties.

The Ministry of Tourism assured that efforts are being directed towards ensuring that difficulties with acquiring visa are being addressed.
