President Nasheed said this today, while speaking to the press after returning to Male’ from a visit to India.
The President of MDP responded to allegations that some of the party’s Parliamentary candidates had been named in the ACC report. He said that he had read the report from cover to cover and back again and that has not found even one name of an MDP Parliamentary candidate on the report.
He then raised the question as to exactly which page had the name of an MDP candidate.
The report by ACC on corruption of MVR 1.4 billion at MMPRC was made public the past Thursday.
Various companies named in the report has been found to belong to current members of Parliament.
