President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that the peace and unity of this nation is maintained through our Mother tongue- the Dhivehi language.

The President said this in a tweet conveying greetings on the occasion of National Language Day. He noted the proponents of the Dhivehi language in the greeting.

The National Mother Language Day has been celebrated every year, internationally on 21 February since the year 2000.
