The team of international observers have concluded that the Parliamentary Election 2019 was free and fair and that it had no influences whatsoever.

Speaking during a press conference held on Monday by the team of observers, an observer from Georgia noted that the election was free from any influences by stakeholders. He added that the election itself was very independent.

A commissioner from Jordan noted that even though the election went quite smoothly overall, there were noticeable delays in closing of some ballot boxes and beginning of ballot counting.

“Some of the ballot boxes which had been closed were opened as late as 7:30pm. I feel like the personnel at these stations were not trained adequately,” he added.

He noted that it was quite important to train election personnel beforehand due to such reasons.

Japan and Phillipines has also previously said that the election was smooth and that it was free and fair.
