A minor accident that occurred in Hulhumale today has left a car in a bunch of trees.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that a car had crashed into a bunch of trees near the cemetery in Reethigas Magu. The accident is said to have occurred around 7:00am this morning.

During the time of the accident, only the driver was inside the car - who sustained no injuries. Police did confirm that the driver had a valid license and that the car did not see any serious damages.

Police is investigating further.
