Fatimath Maheera Mohamed has been removed from her position as Vice President of the Employment Tribunal.

While sources have confirmed her dismissal, neither the government nor the Employment Tribunal has officially announced the decision.

Maheera's profile has also been removed from the tribunal's official website, indicating that she is no longer serving in the role.

Her removal comes just days after President Dr Mohamed Muizzu appointed Amjad Musthafa as President of the Employment Tribunal.

Maheera was appointed Vice President of the tribunal on 15 April 2022 alongside Ishaq Hussain, who was appointed as President at the time. Ishaq later resigned from the post.
