The Youth Ministry has denied rumors claiming that the government instructed the cancellation of the music show of famous ABBA tribute band 'Björn Again'.

The show was scheduled to take place tomorrow night at the Social Centre. Organized by Uber Events, sponsors had been secured, the event was widely advertised, and tickets were also sold.

The Ministry stated today that claims of the government cancelling the show are false, clarifying that it only requested to relocate the event to another venue. It added that assurance was also given to the organizer that assistance would be provided in this regard.

The Ministry noted that the request to change the venue was made due to urgent major repair works required in the indoor hall, including the roof over the stage at the Social Centre.

In addition to Björn Again, several Maldivian artists are also scheduled to perform at the show.

Björn Again is an Australian ABBA-inspired tribute band featuring artists from various countries. The name is a play on the name of ABBA guitarist and vocalist Björn Ulvaeus and the term "born again." Formed in 1988, the band performs worldwide.
