The Parliament approved the appointment of Ahmed Sareer and Fathimath Dhiyana Saeed as ambassadors.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu nominated Fathimath Dhiyana Saeed to serve as the Maldives' Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union (EU).

Ahmed Sareer was nominated to serve as the Maldives' Non-Resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He currently serves as the Maldives' Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The appointments received parliamentary approval following the President's nominations.
